Haldiram Snacks to Invest Rs. 300 Crore in Bihar for New Manufacturing Unit.

Haldiram Snacks will invest Rs. 300 crore to establish a manufacturing facility in Bihar, solidifying its presence in the packaged food industry. Announced during the Bihar Business Connect 2024 summit, the company signed an MoU with the Bihar government for a 12-acre plant in Sikanderpur, Bihta, expected to be operational by mid-2027. The facility will produce sweets, namkeens, and snacks, aligning with Haldiram’s expansion strategy and regional economic development goals. The summit, aimed at boosting Bihar’s economy, witnessed MoUs worth Rs. 1.8 lakh crore, significantly surpassing last year’s Rs. 53,000 crore, marking a major milestone for the state.
